JJGoo LED Balloon Lights Recall Class Action Lawsuit

JJGoo LED Balloon Lights Recall sue liable incident compensation lawyer attorney

On February 19, 2026, JJGoo issued a recall for their LED Balloon Lights. According to the recall, recall # 26-274, the lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because the batteries can be easily accessed by children, which poses an ingestion risk. Additionally, the products do not have the necessary warnings as required under Reese’s Law. Further, when button cell batteries are swallowed, the batteries can cause serious injuries, including chemical burns and death.

The recall affects approximately 3,400 units of the product.

The recall involves JJGoo-branded balloon lights. The submersible lights were sold in packs of 100 LED color-changing lights. Each blinking light measures about 0.6 inches in diameter and has 200 pre-installed LR41 batteries. The product packaging has a label with “MY1005E-Colorfu1-100” printed on it.

According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.

The recalled LED balloon lights were sold via Amazon.com from October 2025 through November 2025 for approximately $10 each.

Affected consumers are being urged to stop using the recalled LED lights immediately, place them somewhere inaccessible to children, and dispose of the batteries. Consumers can receive full refunds from JJGoo directly after disposing of the product and following certain instructions.

However, if your child suffered harm, you should not dispose of the product and accept a refund. Instead, you should seek legal help from an experienced recall lawyer as soon as possible. Our team here at the Normandie Law Firm can help you better understand the legal options available to you.

    The Risk of Injury

When button cell batteries are ingested, severe injuries may occur. The battery may become lodged in the esophagus, resulting in the battery and saliva creating an electric current that could cause internal burns and necrosis; this an happen in as little as two hours.

In general, the harm that can occur due to button cell battery ingestion could include the following:

    • Burns, ulcers, perforations, narrowing of the esophagus, and scarring of the esophagus
    • Airway injuries, such as injuries to trachea and vocal cord paralysis
    • Vascular injuries which can lead to internal bleeding
    • Collapsed lungs
    • Chest cavity inflammation

When a child ingests a button cell battery, the child may present a number of symptoms, which may include drooling, gagging, difficulty swallowing, difficulty eating, wheezing, coughing, noisy breathing, chest pain, abdominal pain, fever, vomiting, blood in saliva, blood in stool, blood in vomit, and irritability. Unfortunately, some of these initial symptoms can be confused with symptoms of common childhood illnesses, like cold and flu, which can result in a delay of treatment.
