On February 19, 2026, Meijer issued a recall for the one-piece footed 12-, 18-, and 24-month children’s sleepwear. According to the recall, number 26-275, the recalled sleepwear violated mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, which poses a risk of burn injuries to children.

The affected sleepwear has the style number located on a sewn-in, side-seam label. Affected style numbers include the following:

The affected sleepwear was sold from December 2024 through October 2025 for prices ranging from $5 through $12 at Meijer stores in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Kentucky.

According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.

The company is urging all affected consumers to immediately stop using the recalled children’s sleepwear and return the product to a Meijer store for a full refund.

However, if your child was harmed, it is important that you do not simply accept a full refund. Instead, you should explore the legal options available to you. You could have the right to file a class action claim.
