On February 19, 2026, Samit Outdoors issued a recall for their SAMIT Youth Multi-Purpose Helmets. According to the recall, number 26-277, the recalled helmets violate the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets. The helmets have gray padding, black straps, and a black and red buckle with a black chin strap as well as a black plastic knob at the back of the helmet (for adjusting the fit).
The recalled helmets were sold on Amazon.com from March 2025 through November 2025 for prices ranging from $28 and $33.
According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.
