Paradise Grills Outdoor Kitchens Recall Class Action Lawsuit

Paradise Grills Outdoor Kitchens Recall Class Action Lawsuit recall lawsuit incident accident sue

A recall was issued on February 16, 2023 for approximately 18,000 Outdoor Kitchens by Paradise Grills. The recall follows two incidents of the grills on these kitchens exploding and causing severe burn injuries to the user. The problem is with the stainless steel vents on these units, which can cause propane gas to be trapped inside the lid and cabinets. When the user relights the grill, the trapped gas will ignite and cause an explosion.

The recalled kitchens may have sinks, cabinets, and fridges, along with features such as LED lights, commercial grills, and Tiki huts. The model name, which is listed on the sales agreement, will be one of the following: GX-3, GX-4, GX-5, GX-6, GX-7, GX-8, GX-9, GX-10, GX-11 GX12, GX14, Fiji, Tahiti, Tropicana, and the Aruba 6 and Aruba 8.

Owners should stop using the kitchens immediately and contact Paradise Grills for a new stainless steel vent. For customers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas, Paradise Grills will schedule a free repair service. Consumers in all other states should have the vent replaced by a professional and send the bill / invoice to the manufacturer to be reimbursed for any repair costs.

As we’ve mentioned, these outdoor kitchens have already caused serious injuries in at least 2 cases. If you have suffered burns or other forms of bodily harm from this product, you may be entitled to compensation from the manufacturer.
