Little Cow Company 9 Ounce Candles in Glass Jars Recall Class Action Lawsuit

Little Cow Company 9 Ounce Candles in Glass Jars Recall Class Action Lawsuit lawyer attorney compensation sue

On February 5, 2026, Little Cow issued a recall for their Little Cow Co. 9 oz candles in glass jars. The recall, number 26-241, the glass jars holding the candle can crack or break during use, which poses fire, burn, and laceration risks. The recall affects approximately 1,140 units of the product.

The candles in the glass jars have a sticker with the brand name located on the center of the front of the jar. In addition, the sticker says “100% natural soy wax candle, laced with organic butter.” The candles were sold from December 2025 through January 2026 for about $25 each at New Seasons Market and Town and Country stores around the nation.

The company has received at least two reports of glass jars breaking, although no injuries have been reported.

Affected consumers are being urged to immediately stop using the candles and contact the company to receive a refund.

If you or a member of your family suffered harm as a result of the defective candles, it is important that you understand that you could have the right to file a lawsuit. Instead of following the company’s instructions to get a refund, you should seek legal help as soon as possible. Here at the Normandie Law Firm, our team is more than ready to provide you with the guidance that you need to pursue your claim.

    The Injuries that May Occur

As mentioned above, the defective candles can crack or break during use, resulting in fire, burn, and laceration risks. Some of the different injuries that could occur could include burns ranging in severity (first-degree burns, second-degree burns, and third-degree burns), smoke inhalation injuries, lacerations (hand lacerations, facial lacerations), and more. These injuries can lead to nerve damage, scarring, and more.

In addition, these defective candles could start house fires, which could lead to extensive property damage.

Steps to Take after an Incident

You may be wondering what to do if you or a member of your family suffered harm related to the defective product. Consider some of the following recommendations:

    • Take photos of all injuries and damages resulting from the incident
    • Take photos of the entire scene of the incident
    • Take photos of the defective product
    • Seek medical attention as soon as possible
    • Contact the company to report the incident and the harm that occurred
    • Never agree to a free replacement, a refund, or to return the product
    • Never sign any document provided by the company agreeing to any remedy
    • Gather all medical records
    • Gather all records of lost income
    • Speak with a recall lawyer

Can I File a Class Action Lawsuit?

Class action claims and mass torts claims are common when it comes to defective products since many consumers can be harmed in the same manner. How can I join or be a part of a class action lawsuit on this case? In general, joining a class action is as simple as reaching out to a class action lawyer. Is there a class action lawsuit already? No, because no injuries have been reported, it is unlikely that there is already a class action claim. However, a class action can arise at any time.
