Brompton Bicycle Recall Class Action Lawsuit

Brompton Bicycle Recall Class Action Lawsuit lawyer attorney sue compensation product liability

Over 2,000 units of Brompton Electric Folding Bicycles were recalled due to nine reports of injuries, including two accounts of hospitalization. The accidents were caused by the bike’s mudguard, which is too close to the front wheel. During deceleration, the front wheel can lock up if something gets caught between the wheel and mudguard. As a result, the rider can suffer a crash or be thrown off the bike.

Model numbers of the recalled bikes are as follows:

    • M2L
    • H2L
    • M6L
    • H6L

These numbers can be found on the bike’s name plate, which is located on the bottom of the seat post. Brompton has asked customers to stop using the bikes immediately and call an authorized Brompton dealer to arrange for a free repair. However, this will not compensate you for your damages if you have been injured on one of these bikes. Legal options such as a class actions lawsuit may be available to you, so contact our attorneys for a free case evaluation.

    Possible Injuries

As previously stated, there have been 9 reports of serious injuries involving these bikes. These injuries include:

    • Broken bones
    • Dislocated shoulder
