On February 5, 2026, Andy & Evan issued a recall for their Children’s Pajama Sets. According to the recall (number 26-257), the recalled children’s pajamas violate the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear; this poses a risk of injuries or death to children. The recall affects approximately 500 units of the product.
The affected pajama sets are woven. The pajama sets consist of a woven long-sleeved shirt with buttons and a front pocket and matching flared pants. The pajama sets were sold in different colors, including pink with white stripes and purple and pink hearts with trim. They were available in multiple children’s sizes, including 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6, and 6X. “Andy & Evan” and the size can be found printed on the sewn-in neck label. There is also a sewn-in side seam label with “RN# 136762” and “YC05” printed on it.
The pajamas were sold from February 2024 through June 2025 for prices ranging from $13 to $58.
The recalled pajama sets were available both in store and online at the following:
- Bringing Up Baby Boutique in South Boston, Massachusetts
- Paddy Bunks Boutique in Locust Valley, New York
- Crib & Kids Boutique in San Antonio, Texas
- Andyandevan.com
- Marshalls.com
- Saksoff5th.com
- Nordstorm.com
- Tjmaxx.tjx.com
- Paddybunks.com
- Cribandkids.com
- And other online retailers
According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.
The company is urging affected consumers to stop using the pajama sets and contact them for a full refund.
If your child was harmed, however, it is important that you do not simply agree to a refund. Instead, you should explore the legal options available to you. You could have the right to file a lawsuit against the product manufacturer. For more information about the legal options available to you, please do not hesitate to reach out to our legal team here at the Normandie Law Firm as soon as possible. Our lawyers have decades of experience and are fully committed to providing you with the guidance that you need to start or continue your claim.
The Injuries that May Occur
As explained above, the pajama sets do not meet flammability standards. Therefore, young children may suffer serious burn injuries or death related to the ignition of sleepwear garments. These burn injuries can range in degree. In addition, nerve damage, permanent scarring, chronic pain, etc. can occur. Survivors of these incidents may also experience significant psychological harm, which may include post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, panic, and more.
What To Do If Your Child is Injured
If your child suffered injuries or died as a result of the defective pajama set, you may have questions about what steps to take. Consider the following recommendations:
- Take photos of the scene of the incident
- Take photos of the defective product
- Seek medical attention as soon as possible
- Contact the company to report the incident and the harm suffered
- Do not agree to a refund, a replacement, or a return
- Never agree to any remedy offered by the company (do not sign anything)
- Gather all relevant medical records
- Gather all records of lost income (if appropriate)
- Seek the guidance of a recall lawyer as soon as possible

Is there a Class Action Lawsuit?
When it comes to defective products, class action claims and mass torts claims are common because many consumers can be harmed in the same way. Currently, there is no class action on this matter. However, a claim can arise at any time. How can I join or be a part of a class action lawsuit on this case? Joining a class action is usually as simple as reaching out to a class action lawyer. Can I file a class action lawsuit? Yes, your claim could actually be the first to start the class action. Again, starting the process is as simple as reaching out to the right lawyer.
