On March 5, 2026, HALO Dream issued a recall for their HALO Magic Sleepsuits. The recall, number 26-315, the zipper head can detach from the sleepsuits, which poses a choking hazard to infants. The recall affects approximately 45,000 units of the product. The affected HALO Magic Sleepsuits have the following batch codes:
- PO30592
- PO30641
- PO30685
The recalled sleepsuit shell and lining are made from 100% cotton, and the fill is made from 100% polyester. The sleepsuit has double zippers running down each side of the front of the garment. It was sold in multiple colors and sizes.
“HALO Magic Sleepsuit” is printed on the front of the sleepsuit. The batch code and “Made in India” can be found printed both on a sewn-in label inside the sleepsuit as well as on the hang tag affixed to the outside of the garment.
The defective sleepsuits weres old online via Amazon.com, Halosleep.com, Walmart.com, and Target.com from September 2025 through 2026 for about $50 each.
So far, there have been 15 reports of the zipper head detaching from the sleepsuit. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers are being urged to stop using the recalled HALO sleepsuits immediately and follow the steps to receive a coupon code or store credit.
