On Februrary 5, 2026, Momok issued a recall for their Fixwal 7-Drawer Dressers. According to the recall, number 26-248, the affected dressers are unstable if not anchored to the wall, so they pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard that can lead to serious injuries and even death to children. The dressers are in violation of the mandatory standard set by the STURDY Act.
The recall affects approximately 2,900 units of the product. The dressers were sold in black and white. They have a metal frame, wooden top, and seven fabric drawers. The dressers measure 55.1 in. long by 11.8 in. wide by 31.5 in. tall.
The recalled products were sold online via Amazon.com from September 2023 through December 2025 for approximately $100 each.
According to the recall, there have been no incidents or injuries reported.
The company is urging affected consumers to immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to a wall, make them inaccessible to children, and contact them for a full refund. Consumers are being urged to write “RECALLED” on the front, side, and back of the dresser with permanent marker, photograph the dresser, and email them to the company.
If your child was injured, however, it is important that you know that you could have the right to file a claim. You could also be entitled to receive compensation. In addition, the other injuries that may occur could include head injuries, traumatic brain injuries, concussions, broken bones, dislocations, lacerations, scrapes, and bruises. Besides physical injuries, children could suffer extensive psychological harm, which could include post-traumatic stress, panic, anxiety, fear, etc.
