    On February 05, 2026, Gumili Beauty issued a recall for their GM Gumili Wintergreen Essential Oil Bottles. According to the recall, recall number 26-243, the essential oil contains methyl salicylate and must be in child-resistant packaging as required by law. The recall affects 2,970 units of the product.

    Further, the product was sold in an amber glass bottle with a black screw-on cap. The bottle had a white label with the “GM” logo, “gumili,” “wintergreen essential oil,” as well as an image of a wintergreen plant. The product packaging is white with blue text containing the logo, “gumili,” “essential oil,” and 100% pure & natural” on the front. On the back of the box, there are directions, safety instructions, as well as the manufacturer’s information. The product comes with a black dropper cap.

    Consumers are urged to immediately secure the recalled oil and put it both out of sight and reach of children. Affected consumers are to contact the company to receive either a full refund or a free replacement bottle. Consumers will need to photograph the product in the trash to receive either of these remedies.

    According to the recall, no incidents or injuries have been reported.

    The recalled essential oil products were sold online via Amazon.com by Gumili Beauty from October 2023 through November 2025. The products were sold for about $8 each.
