My mom went in for a double mastectomy with diep flap reconstruction (remove tummy fat to place in breasts as reconstruction from cancer removal) in feb, they put an IV in her foot which was infiltrated causing her a massive blister on her left foot. The blister was so bad it had to be surgically popped and debrided. Then they had to put on an artificial skin graph after another surgical debriding, along with nerve damage, the inability to walk for months and even to this day an extreme amount of pain and numbness. She lost her job due to being out of work for months in order to heal which her doctors say the nerve damage may never regrow or feeling may not come back. With my mom being diabetic, this was extra challenging and now my mom has been diagnosed with PTSD due to the amount of surgeries they put her through for this ordeal, she has lost most of her hair (she didnt even need chemo or radiation) from the stress of the trauma. She was in the hospital for 30 days (should have been less than 4 days) with doctors not knowing why she had constant fevers, vomiting, and being lathargic. They found out she has an allergy to heprin which causes her to clot instead of thin which is how she got 2 clots in her lung, in her left breast (which ended up dying due to the clots and had to be removed entirely) and one in her heart.

Any of this worth persuing legal action?
