On March 26, 2026, Vive Health issued a recall for their bed rails. The recall, number 26-341, affects about 122,000 units of the product. There have been two reports of entrapment deaths related to one model of the recalled bed rails. Both deaths occurred in September 2024. One death involved a 97-year-old man at an assisted living facility in Texas and the other involved a 93-year-old man at his home in Florida.

The recalled bed rails were sold from September 2019 through December 2025 for prices ranging from $45 to $90. The recalled bed rails were manufactured in China.
