    Electric Water Kettle Burn and Electric Shock Lawsuit

    The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of the Rival Electric Kettles sold at local Walmart locations across the country. According to the recall notice the heating element of the product can fail and rupture, posing burn and shock hazards to users. There have been more than 1.2 million units of the electric kettle recalled. The defect has resulted in over 80 incidents of severe burns and electric shocks.
